So here we are once again! And there are only three days left… Today they woke us up with loud music to make sure no one of us was too sleepy during the morning. But when we got up we realized that it was very foggy. Until today we had been very lucky because we had not had the typical fog of the Vic area at all. So it was a bit cold but as we are explorers we are used to such things!

After breakfast we have gone to class again and for the last time!, since tomorrow we are taking our exam and that will be the end of the course in the summer camp. Today we have continued doing activities in the exercise book, among other things we have studied daily routines, the countryside and vocabulary on adjectives about the character of people. As it was still cloudy when we finished the snack, we decided not to go to the swimming pool and we went to classes for longer than usually.

After having lunch, we had free time which we used to make drawings for our families and to continue making bracelets and braids for everyone!

For the afternoon workshop the monitors had prepared for us a plastic bag which we had to decorate

 with all kinds of material in order to make it original. And inside it tomorrow we will put all the things which we have been doing during arts and crafts workshops so that we have everything well kept inside a cool bag! We have used Divermagic, stickers, crayons and colour cellotape to decorate them!

After the afternoon snack, as today we are still in Europe, a Greek woman appeared and told us that if we wanted to find the magic snowball for Europe, she was going to help us with some clues. It was like a scavenger hunt, but quite difficult. She gave us some hints in Greek and she gave us the equivalent alphabet in English, so that we translated the coded sentences from Greek into English and then had to look for the next hint, until we finally found the fifth and last snowball. As it started to rain, we decided to hide it properly so that it doesn’t get wet and keep it until tonight, when Dr. Friegman is going to come for it.

After dinner, we had a visit from the assistant of Dr Friegman, who told us that he needed our help to find Dr Friegman, who had been kidnapped by his son -Dr Friegman Junior, to whom we had given the magic snowballs. In order to rescue Dr Friegman we had to play a game where we had to enter into the prison in the dark without being seen by the monitors. If they recognized us and shouted our names, then we had to go back to the beginning and start again. At last we all entered the prison and there we found Dr Friegman, who told us that tomorrow we should look for a witch who lives in Antartica and who knows how to make the magic snowballs  work.

Ja som aquí altre cop! I ja només queden tres dies… Avui ens han despertat amb música molt alta perquè volien assegurar-se que cap de nosaltres no estaria endormiscat durant el matí! Però quan ens hem llevat i hem sortit a fora hem vist que hi havia una bona capa de boira. Fins avui hem estat molt afortunats perquè no havíem tingut cap dia la típica boira de la plana de Vic. Doncs feia una mica de fred, però com que som exploradors estem acostumats a aquestes coses.

Després d’esmorzar hem anat a classe altre cop i per última vegada, ja que demà fem l’examen i posarem el punt i final al curs al summer camp! Avui hem continuat fent exercicis al llibre i entre d’altres coses hem estudiat les rutines diàries, les coses que trobem quan anem al camp d’excursió i vocabulari sobre alguns adjectius de la personalitat de la gent. Com que quan hem acabat el temps lliure de l’snack encara estava ennuvolat, hem decidit allargar les classes i no anar a la piscina.

Després de dinar, hem tingut temps lliure, que hem aprofitat per fer dibuixos per a les nostres famílies i per continuar fent polseres i trenes per a tothom!

Com a manualitats de tarda, els monitors ens havien preparat per a nosaltres una bossa de plàstic que havíem de decorar amb tot tipus de material per personalitzar-la. I dins de la bossa demà hi posarem totes les manualitats que hem fet als tallers per emportar-nos-les a casa i tenir-les ben guardades en una bossa ben xula! Hem fet servir Divermagic, gomets, ceres i cel·lo per decorar-les.

Després de l’snack de la tarda, com que encara estem a Europa, ha aparegut una dona grega i ens ha dit que si volíem trobar la bola màgica d’Europa, ella ens ajudaria amb algunes pistes. Ha estat com un joc de pistes, però no pas fàcil! Ens ha donat unes quantes pistes en grec i ens ha donat una taula d’equivalències de les lletres en anglès, així que hem hagut de traduir les frases xifrades del grec a l’anglès i seguir les pistes fins que ens han portat a descobrir la cinquena i última bola màgica. Però com que llavors ha començat a ploure entre tots l’hem amagada bé perquè no es mullés i així li podrem entregar aquesta nit al Dr Friegman quan vingui a visitar-nos per recollir l’última bola que li falta.

Després de sopar, hem rebut la visita de l’ajudant del Dr Friegman, que ens ha explicat que necessita la nostra ajuda per trobar el Dr Friegman, que ha estat segrestat pel seu fill -el Dr Friegman Junior, a qui li vam entregar les boles màgiques. Per rescatar el Dr Friegman hem hagut de jugar a un joc en el qual havíem d’intentar entrar a la presó sense ser vistos pels monitors. Si ens reconeixien I deien els nostres noms, llavors havíem de tornar a la línia del començament. Per fi tots hem aconseguit entrar a la presó I hem trobat el Dr Friegman, que ens ha dit que demà haurem d’intentar buscar una bruixa que viu a l’Antàrtica I que és la única que sap com fer funcionar les boles màgiques.

Hola pares i mares! Com esteu? Nosaltres molt bé! Estem aprofitant molt bé els dies que ens queden!

De bon matí hem començat les classes, com que avui no feia dia de piscina, hem aprofitat per fer una miqueta més de classe. Abans de dinar hem tingut una estona lliure i hem estar fent bombolles de sabó amb els monitors. Ha sigut molt divertit!

Després de dinar hem viatjat a Europa i és per això que hem estat fent activitats relacionades amb aquest continent. A primera hora de la tarda dos monitores han aparegut disfressades de formatge i de croissant, representant França. Com que l’art és un tret característic de França, hem decidit fer una mica d’art. Així doncs, hem estat fent tallers, on hem fet uns marcs molt xulos. A més, els podrem aprofitar per posar alguna foto d’aquí de l’Armentera. Com a segona activitat hem jugat a un joc semblant al de matar. Cada cop que eliminàvem una persona, el grup contrari, havia d’entregar un país. D’aquesta manera em posat una mica en pràctica la conquesta d’Europa. Hem hagut de fer tres partides per desempatar. Tot seguit ens hem dutxat i hem sopat. Després de sopar plovia una mica, així que hem fet una activitat a un espai tancat. Hem estat jugant al llop, un lloc on es tracta de negar que ets el llop, i de fer complot entre els companys per descobrir-lo.

Doncs bé, ja us ho hem explicat tot, ara anem a dormir que estem molt cansadets! Fins demà!!

Hey families! How are you?  We are having lots of fun!

Today we did our lessons, but as it wasn’t sunny, we took profit to do more lessons. Before having lunch we did some bubbles with soap with our monitors.

After having lunch we travelled to Europe. Two monitors came dressed as croissants and cheese representing France. In order to do activities related to France, we worked on things related to art, as it is very important and famous in that country. So once we were artists, we made some frames. They were really nice, so we will use them to put a picture from our friends in l’Armentera. After having snack we started the second activity, we played to Europe conquest. We were two teams and we had to hit somebody from the opposite team. Once we hit someone, that team had to give a country from Europe.

Later we took showers and had dinner. When we finished it was raining, so we had to do indoor activities. We played a game called the wolf. The aim of the game is to find who is the wolf among us. Each of us plays a role, some are citizens and one is the wolf. The wolf has to kill everyone without being discovered.

Hello everybody!!!

Yesterday afternoon we had the pleasure to go to Puigcerdà and go to the ice skating rink. We could enjoy both, professional skaters and some people falling down.
As tired as we were, when we arrived to the campsite Cupido was already there. We played Dr. Love, and there was lots of love in the air.

Ahir a la tarda vam tenir el plaer d’anar a Puigcerdà i a la pista de patinatge sobre gel. Vam poder disfrutar tant de piruetes professionals com de caigudes al terra.
Cansats com estàvem, vam arribar al càmping on el Cupido ja havia arribat. Vam jugar al Dr. Love, i vam poder ser testimonis de molt love in the air.

Ei pares!

Avui ens hem llevat a l’hora de sempre però alguns hem dormit nerviosos ja que anàvem d’excursió! Després d’un bon esmorzar per agafar forces per caminar els monitors ens han explicat les coses que calia portar a la motxilla, no ens havíem de deixar res si volem ser uns bons exploradors! Un cop hem estat ben preparats hem començat la nostra exploració per Osona! Primer hem anat a Cantonigròs on ja havíem anat la setmana passada, des del poble surt un camí cap a un gorg anomenat La roca foradada. Després d’una bona estona caminant ens hem adonat que l’esforç valia la pena, el lloc era impressionant! Ens hem estat banyant al riu i hi havia una cascada i tot!

Després de nadar hem dinat a l’ombra i un cop hem tingut l’estomac ple altre cop hem tornat al poble on hem pogut tornar a anar al parc on hi ha la tirolina! La veritat és que se’ns ha vist una mica el llautó perquè ens hem estat queixant tot el camí de tornada del gorg al poble perquè estàvem cansats però quan hem arribat al parc hem començat a córrer i els monitors s’han adonat que el que realment ens passava és que no ens agrada gaire caminar! Després hem anat a comprar gelats, llaminadures i algunes coses per als pares que no direm, ja ho veureu quan arribem!

La veritat és que ens ho hem passat molt bé durant tot el dia i quan hem arribat l’Armentera, on hem anat directes a la dutxa ! Després de la dutxa ja fèiem cua al menjador perquè teníem gana després d’un dia tant actiu! A la nit hem estat jugant a futbol xinès, la veritat és que estem aprenent moltes coses sobre les altres cultures! Això sí, no hem jugat fins molt tard perquè estàvem cansats i demà ens espera un viatge molt llarg: tornem a Europa! Tot i que la veritat no sabem a quin país europeu està la bola de neu màgica, ho haurem de descobrir…

Ja us mantindrem informats de com van els nostres descobriments! Molts records, ens veiem aviat!

Hi parents!

Today we woke up at the same hour as always but some of us slept nervous because today we were going to an exursion! After a good breakfast for gaining strenght for walking, the monitors explained to us the things that were necessary to bring in the bag, we musn’t forget anything if we want to become good explorers! Once we had prepared the things we started our exploration for Osona! First we went to Cantonigròs were we went last week, there starts the way for going to a lake named ” La roca foradada”. After walking some time we realised that the effort had recompense: the place was amazing! We were swimming in the river and there was a waterfall too!

After swimming we had lunch in the shade and some free time we went to a park where there’s “la tirolina”! The truth is that we were complaining all the way back from the lake to the village but when we arrived to the park we started running and the monitors realised that what happened to us was that we don’t like walking! After playing, we went to buy ice-creams, sweets and some things for our parents that we are not going to say, you will see when we arrive!

We really enjoyed the day and we did the way back to l’Armentera very fast. When we arrived we went straight to the showers. In the night activity we learnt how to play Chinese fotball, we are learning a lot of things about other cultures! We played a few time because we were tired and tomorrow we have to travel another time: we return to Europe! We don’t know in wich part of Europe the snowball is hided, we will have to discover it…

So a new day has come. And for some of us it is the last day here! So the monitors have prepared a lot of wonderful surprises.

We woke up very early -as always-, and had a big breakfast to have som

e energy to face the day. Then we went to class and among many other things, we stamped our fingerprints to our passports in the continents where we have been to. We also learned some songs and we have even written the letters with a poem for our family and friends.

After the snack, we headed to the swimming pool again, where we spent lots of time bathing, sun bathing, laying in the towels, playing games, singing songs and even playing with swimming noodles.

We were delighted with our lunch of macaroni with cheese and lamb with crisps. We also had melon! And then the jury from yesterday night announced their decision about the Talent Show. It was hard, because all of them were different but very well worked in their own ways, but the winner was… Marco Polo’s class! They got a delicious marshmallow and were congratulated for their acting.  

Then we had some free time in which we carried on building some huts in the surroundings of the house, playing football, making bracelets and having braids done in our hair. We had a great time but what was going to come was definitely better.

Around 4 pm a suspicious truck arrived and out of it came some men with… quads and bouncy castles!!! Can you believe it? So we spent the whole afternoon going in and out of three different bouncy castles (including a trampoline). We  liked so much the quads that we even drove them with a monitor in our back, so that when some of us where too excited about driving, they would lead us to the right way. What fun! But how tiring… we had to go straight into shower later because it was so hot and we moved around so much.

After dinner, the monitors even prepared something better: a PYJAMA PARTY! What a pity you were not here, because you missed the chance to see us dancing with our pyjama to all the summer songs and enjoying a party meant to say farewell to the Marco Polo class, who are all leaving tomorrow! Thanks for coming, we will miss you!

Un altre dia ja és aquí. I per alguns de nosaltres és l’últim dia aquí. Així que els monitors ens han preparat unes quantes sorpreses.

Ens hem llevat ben d’hora -com sempre-, i hem esmorzat molt per tenir energia per passar un bon dia. Llavors hem anat a classe i entre d’altres coses hem estampat les nostres empremtes dactilars als nostres passaports com a prova dels continents que hem visitat fins ara. També hem après algunes cançons i fins i tot hem escrit algunes cartes amb un poema per a les nostres famílies i amics.

Després de l’snack hem anat cap a la piscina altre cop, on ens hem banyat, estirat  a la tovallola, jugat, cantat i jugat amb xurros d’espuma.

Hem estat contentíssims de menjar macarrons amb formatge i xai amb patates. Fins i tot hem menjat melons. En acabat el jurat de la competició del Talent Show d’ahir a la nit ha anunciat la seva decisió. Ha estat difícil perquè totes les classes han fet actuacions molt diferents i molt bones, però finalment els guanyadors han estat els de la classe de Marco Polo. Han rebut un núvol de llaminadura i tothom els ha felicitat.

Després hem tingut temps lliure per seguir construint cabanyes, jugant a futbol, fent polseres i fent trenes als cabells. Ens ho hem passat molt bé, però encara ens tenien preparades més sorpreses!

A la tarda ha arribat una furgoneta sospitosa amb alguns homes i resulta que portaven quads i inflables per a nosaltres! Hem passat tota la tarda junts saltant als inflables, baixant pels tobogans. Els quads també ens han encantat, fins i tot també els hem pogut conduir amb l’ajut d’un monitor. Però ha estat molt cansat i feia tanta calor perquè no hem parat que hem anat directe a la dutxa.

Després de sopar els monitors encara ens han sorprès més: una festa de pijames! Quina pena que no hagueu pogut venir, perquè us heu perdut l’oportunitat de veure’ns ballar amb el pijama totes les cançons de l’estiu i ens ha agradat molt perquè ha estat una bona manera de dir adéu a la classe de Marco Polo, que se’n van demà. Gràcies per venir, us trobarem a faltar!
