Good afternoon! Today it’s been a strange day in the camp. After lunch, all kids from Endesa took a bus back to Barcelona. Farewell was emotional, and all the kids that are staying here already miss them.  Don’t worry,  we all believe that it’s not a “Good bye” but  “See you soon”!

Of course, yesterday we prepared a huge party to celebrate Endesa people last night on the Camp. In the evening, everybody went to the Skate Park to enjoy a spectacular Skate competition. Our skaters were training various skating techniques for two weeks, and they all wanted to show what they had learned to their friends.

After the competition and an unexpected great dinner (we had delicious handmade pizza!), we celebrated Les Tallades Oscars Award. Paula and Carlos presented an amazing show that rewarded the best monitor (Jack!), the best teacher (Collum!), the best couple of the  Camp, the most vain,  the most funny of the kids, etc.

After the awards, we organized a joyful discoheque in the terrace, and we were enjoying music, chatting  and soft drinks until midnight. Maybe that’s why today’s good morning was a bit more hard for everyone! Nevertheless, today it’s been a regular day for all the kids except for those in Max Horse, that went on an excursion  and had lunch in the countryside.

See you soon! We have lots of things to prepare for the last t  wo days of the camp!

First of all, we’d like to apologize for not uploading the blog since last monday, but we’ve been very busy! On tuesday we were in l’Estartit enjoying lots of water activities and also its amazing beach, and yesterday we were preparing today’s skate competition and the farewell discotheque for Endesa’s kids. Time has gone by so fast, and they are leaving tomorrow!

Nevertheless, we’re completely sure that they’ve enjoyed their lasts days in the camp.  On Monday, we organized a horror night as a night activity, and they were laughing and screaming throw the forest trying to discover an old Sau mistery.

The day after, all monitors and kids went to the beach to enjoy a wonderful (and hot!) summer day. Most of us went to l’Estartit and we did lots of activities to discover Costa Brava’s surroundings: we played football an voleiball in the beach, we sailed next to Medes Islands, we did kayaking in the village’port and we saw lots of fishes and waterplants while snorkeling in the coast. The skaters were not in l’Estartit because they were training in one of the best skates parks of Catalonia, in Malgrat de mar.

After tuesday (and also after lots and lots of after sun J ), children and monitors returned to regular activities (english lessons and trainings).

Football players came back to the soccer pitch to practise and learn strategies and the bests shots. They are the most sun tanned of the camp, as they train hard morning and afternoon in a natural grass pitch in the open air.

Also our skate boys practise every day how to do the best and more spectacular tricks. Under Luc supervision and instructions, they’re improving their balance and practising their acrobatic habilities.

And finally, we cannot forget our Max Fame girls! Since they arrived, they’ve been dancing all kind of modern music and also preparing an spectacular show for the last day of the camp. It’s gonna be amazing!

Dear families!

Yesterday we went to Tavertet. Because the weather forecast for the following night and today’s morning was very bad ,we decided to leave the camp in the morning and come back to Les Tallades in the afternoon. In the evening we could watch a football match between Spain and Paraguay avoiding the risk of being soaked wet during the excursion.

The excursion was great,we could enjoy  beautiful landscapes and  the valley of Collsacabra. We had great fun walking with our friends and we tested our endurance, so we are very proud of ourselves. Up in Tavertet we went to the swimming pool but there was a problem with the lack of chloride, so the water was completely green. Anyway we were able to refresh ourselves  in the showers and the hose. We had lunch all together and the monitors invited us to an ice cream. In the afternoon we made our way back to the house, went to the swimming pool and after dinner watched the victory of Spain. Some weren’t willing to see the match and organized a poker party instead.

Luckily we arranged the excursion to last only a day because, it has been raining all day long. We did some activities that the monitors prepared inside the house and watched a movie.

Right now the kids are playing a funny night activity , where they have to find the director that apparently, has been kidnaped by someone, and tomorrow we will continue  with dance, skate, soccer and horse riding activities. Max Lake participants will enjoy the Adventure Park in Les Tallades.  Of course we will follow with the english classes.

Dear Parents!

We´re writing to let you know that we love spending time here. This British Summer Camp is the best one in the world! We can play footbal every day and we go swimming  twice a day. We are really happy because it´s so funny here. We learn English all the time because all the teachers and monitors speak English only! It´crazy here, some of our friends are here for the first time and they have already fallen in love with  British Summer camps!

Tomorrow we are going to Tavertet on a walking excursion. There we will go to the swimming pool and play great activities that the monitors prepared. We will sleep watching the stars in an amazing landscape. We are coming back on sunday and we will explain you how was the weekend!

in Les Tallades

Hi Parents,

It is our fourth day at the camp and everything is going really well. At camp “Les Tallades” we do 3 hours of English class everyday and we learn a lot however, although the classes are fun, we prefer the activites.

So far we have done Djing and graffiti. Others include skateboarding, football, MAX fame and MAX lake. Everyone loves the different activities.

The monitors are amazing and they always organize really fun game and activities, so even if it rains we can still have a good time and enjoy ourselves.

The house we are staying in is very big and beautiful. The scenary is also incredible.  In our free time we can go to the swimming pool and play all sorts of games including water polo.

For some people it is not their first time at “Les Talledes” so they have been reunited with old friends but for most its their first time and they are making new friends everyday.

This is without doubt the best camp we have ever been on. We can´t wait for the excursions and to continue with the activities planned.

OK, we have to go now as we have a lot of fun to be had
