After two whole weeks of enjoying the great place of Vilanova de Sau, the magic was still not over. What kind of camp is a camp that doesnt do the Horror night, The Oscars and the disco? maybe a typical camp that just plays games? Sure, thats why we´re not typical, we´re MaxCamps…so things got serious, ugly, loud and pretty!
So after getting to know each and everyone one of us, the Horror night came together after a great organization on behalf of the team. We took a walk in the woods in pitch black darkness were we became small little nothings frightened by the World of Black light and white darkness…the colours white and black had given the ultimatum, it was either see the light forever, or be hidden by darkness and never see the light…so we decided to walk through the woods where no one was brave enough to walk without screaming their loudest scream!
And coming back to reality, it was time to present the Oscars and Dance the buggie at the disco!
So the best moment goes toooo…….EVERYONE!
Thanks for such a great experience! We will remember for ever! Njoy

As we divided groups for our specific excursions…we came back home with many stories to tell!
This is Part II of the Previous post…hope you enjoy it!

So after Tavartet, we continued with the normality of the camp being able to experience new workshops such as capoeira, photo workshop, Dj-ing workshop, adventure parks and more. We also had the opportunity to play great night games like Night Olympics, Love at First Sight (where we met our matching partner
, Fever (where we had a great time guessing and matching definitions in English, imitating monitors, describing movies with mime and more), Outdoor Movie Night (where we didn’t stop laughing with Shrek II), Private Casino Night (where a select group of poker masters joined together to challenge each other with daring bets). With so much things to do we´re sure we wouldn’t have time for anything else!
What we did have time to do was go on our separate excursions where we did more things than before. Last Tuesday some of us went to La Clau Bike Park, some of us went to Malgrat de Mar Skate Park, and the rest of us (MaxLake, MaxHorse & MaxFame) enjoyed an amazing beach day at L´Estartit with more activities than we could have imagined: snorkelling, sailing, kayak, beach games, picnics and shopping!!! And again, with the help of the MaxCamps Team we managed to have a day full of excitement & fun in the sun B-)
Now that we are getting close to the last days, its time to put all our English into practice, all our BMX, Skate, Dance, horse riding, and adventure skills too. It will be a sad moment when its time to go, but no matter what we will take advantage of this once in a life time experience!!
*As you can see, there is more action and there is very little time to be on the computer. So we appreciate your patience of these days and hope you enjoy the next blog posts!

So some days have gone by without being able to post any news…and now there are many things to say! We started off the weekend with our excursion to Tavartet. We learnt many things from our friends. We left the house at approx. 1230 hrs. with all our pack-packs fully equipped. Our list of material consisted of a sleeping bag, warm cloths for the fresh night, a swimsuit and towel to enjoy the refreshing arrival. During the hike we felt many emotions such as happiness, frustration, achievement, fatigue and pleasure. What´s for certain is that without the monitors help and dedication, our journey up to Tavartet would not have been such a success. The monitors must not be confused by intolerant guides, but motivated guides helping us reach the top of our dreams! It all came together when we started to set up for dinner: the night fell, the guitars were playing, jokes and laughes where heard, the insects gathered with us, and the stars became part of the black night roof which guided us through an unforgettable night of sharing. The next morning, the first rays of light came over the mountainous horizon at 700 hrs, although that wasn’t the reason for waking up with the first bird songs and crisp morning dew at 600 hrs. It all had so much excitement that having slept for 3 hours didn’t make us want to sleep more than we were suppose to. So before we had breakfast we organized a small football match to make our bodies wake up and be ready for the descent back to Les Tallades from Tavartet! Once we were on our way, everything seemed more familiar there for making it faster and easier than before. Since we had a long way down, time seemed to be passing quite fast under our fast feet. By the time we knew it, we were back at the house ready for showers, lunch and afternoon activities.
So after our “never ending” hike to Tavartet, we all had one thing in common…we felt GREAT!

So the week has gone fast! It´s Thursday now, tomorrow is Friday which means we will go on our most exciting hike…our mission is to reach TAVARTET!! Now we have gotten to know all our activities, all our friends, all our teachers and we all really are having new experiences that we have never lived before. So tomorrow we will prepare our backpacks with sleeping bags, water bottles, hats, insect repellent and a lot of energy! The weather is being extremely friendly with nice fresh nights and sun shining days. The night games went great since we are dividing the groups in young aged boys and girls, medium aged, and older aged…like this we can have fun without making the games too fast or too slow: so tonight we will play Fever, Casino, and Smugglers!
Well, its half past 7 and its time to take a shower and be nice and fresh for dinner! See you sooon!
